Technician (Plumbing & Carpentry Stores)

- Maintain and manage plumbing and carpentry stores, including stock control, ordering, and safe storage of materials. - Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures in workshops and stores; carry out routine checks and risk assessments. - Prepare and maintain tools, equipment, and teaching resources for practical sessions. - Support staff and learners with technical set-up, demonstrations, and safe use of equipment and PPE. - Undertake basic maintenance and repairs of workshop equipment and furniture; escalate complex faults to facilities teams. - Maintain accurate records of inventories, tests, inspections, and equipment servicing. - Assist with the induction of learners on workshop safety, PPE use, and store access procedures. - Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting efficiency and safety enhancements for stores and workshops.
