Site Engineer

We are recruiting for a Site Engineer to join us here at Octavius.

We're a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable and efficient infrastructure solutions that improve how people travel and connect across the UK.

 

You'll be working on…. (what your role and responsibility is)

Exciting public realm, highways and infrastructure improvement projects across West and East Sussex, including our current work at Barnham and a growing pipeline of schemes delivered through long-term local authority partnerships. These projects are helping to improve communities, reduce congestion and create lasting infrastructure that people use every day.

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in bringing these schemes to life, providing accurate setting out, supporting project delivery and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

A collaborative team of Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and delivery specialists who genuinely enjoy working together and supporting one another.

About you…. (what you are skilled at)

You're someone who takes pride in getting things right first time.

You enjoy being on site, solving problems and working closely with delivery teams to make projects successful. You understand the importance of accurate setting out, quality assurance and maintaining high standards throughout construction.

 

You'll bring… (your wealth of experience & qualifications)

• Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, highways or infrastructure projects.
• Strong setting out and surveying capability.
• Experience with quality assurance processes and quality records, including ITPs and inspection documentation.
• Knowledge of Procore, BIM or other digital project delivery tools.
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications with confidence.
• A relevant engineering qualification and CSCS card.
• A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
