About the role
Connect Appointments is recruiting a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established plant machinery business based in Auchtermuchty.
Our client provides plant machinery maintenance, repair and hire services across Scotland, offering a brand new fully kitted service van and a varied field-based role for a fully qualified plant engineer.
What’s on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Overtime and weekend work available
- £35,000 to £40,000 – dependent on experience
- Brand new fully fitted service van provided
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, your duties will include:
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, ATVs and small plant
- Diagnosing faults using Jaltest and Texa diagnostic equipment
- Working across 12v and 24v electrical systems
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at client sites across Scotland
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
To be considered as a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will need:
- A Level 3 NVQ/SVQ Diploma in Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance OR have a time-served plant or agricultural engineering background
- A minimum of 5 year’s experience in a similar role
- Experience with Jaltest or Texa diagnostic equipment
- A full UK driving licence is essential
