Snagger/Finisher Long term Our client is a leading name in the construction industry, delivering high-quality new-build homes across the region. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Snagger / Finisher to join the team on a new-build housing site in Exeter. Role Overview: As a Snagger / Finisher, you will play a key role in ensuring newly built properties meet the highest standards of quality and finish. Working on a busy residential development, you will be responsible for identifying and rectifying minor defects, completing finishing touches, and ensuring properties are ready for handover. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out snagging inspections on newly built propertiesIdentifying and rectifying minor defects and imperfectionsCompleting finishing works, including filling, sanding, painting, and touch-upsEnsuring internal finishes meet the required quality standardsChecking doors, skirting boards, fixtures, fittings, and other finishing detailsWorking alongside site managers and other trades to ensure work is completed efficientlyMaintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environmentEnsuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescalesRequirements: Previous experience as a Snagger, Finisher, or in a similar construction role is preferredExperience working on new-build housing developments is advantageousGood attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanshipAbility to identify and rectify minor defects independentlyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic and a positive attitudeGood understanding of health and safety regulationsValid CSCS Card preferredRG Setsquare is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
