Candour Talent are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join our client based in Cardiff. After a period of sustained growth and significant investments, our client is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join its highly motivated team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a target–driven and customer–focused internal salesperson to join a dynamic and vibrant company, which buys in and distributes a range of products. The role comes with excellent OTE and benefits package, as well and long–term development opportunities for the right candidate. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing market share in a designated region. The Role: Grow sales and market share within the region. Re–engage with lapsed accounts. Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with existing customers. Keep customers informed regarding the progress of their orders, liaising with suppliers when necessary. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, including the use of activities to ensure full and up to date information is stored. Deliver tailored quotes to meet customer needs. Onboard new customers with a friendly, proactive approach. Provide first–class follow–up support for existing customers to strengthen relationships. The Ideal Candidate: Sales experience, ideally within a distributor of technical/hi–tech products, a manufacturing business, or similar. CRM/ERP system experience. Excellent telephone manner. Ability to work in a fast–paced environment, managing multiple tasks, and prioritising own workload. Excellent attention to detail. Ambition, drive, and initiative. A passion for building strong customer relationships. A can–do attitude.
