HR Advisor

HR Advisor Location: Stoke on Trent Salary: Up to GBP35,000 per annum The Role; Working closely with the HR Manager and site leadership team, you will provide a proactive, professional, and customer-focused HR service, supporting both managers and employees across a wide range of HR activities. Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of the business and HR strategy across the sitePartner with managers to develop effective people management skills and leadership capabilityProvide guidance and advice on employee relations matters, company policies, procedures, and employment legislationSupport recruitment activities and workforce planning initiativesCoach and advise managers on performance management, employee engagement, and retentionManage and support employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence managementAssist with investigations, hearings, Occupational Health referrals, and return-to-work processesWork collaboratively with managers to reduce absence levels and improve employee wellbeingProvide accurate HR reporting and data to support business decision-makingContribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives About You: Previous experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR roleStrong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practiceExperience managing employee relations cases from start to finishExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsConfident coaching and influencing managers at all levelsCIPD qualification Level 3 or working towards CIPD Level 5 would be advantageousManufacturing or FMCG experience would be beneficial Interested?
