About the role
Help us make volunteering a powerful force for connection, opportunity and positive change in Newham.
At the Renewal Programme, we believe volunteering is about much more than giving your time. It's about bringing people together, building confidence, developing skills and creating opportunities for everyone to contribute to their community.
We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic and organised Volunteer Project Coordinator to help us strengthen and develop volunteering across our charity.
Working closely with our project teams, you'll coordinate volunteer recruitment, induction, engagement and development, ensuring that volunteers feel welcomed, valued and supported. You'll help create meaningful opportunities for people from all walks of life, particularly those who may face barriers to getting involved.
You'll also build relationships with local organisations, champion the voices of our volunteers and help us demonstrate the difference volunteering makes, both to individuals and to the wider community.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, builds relationships naturally, can juggle competing priorities and believes in the power of communities to make positive change.
If you're passionate about people, community and making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
