About the role
We are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver-Recycling to join our team. If you are reliable and ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment, we encourage you to apply and become a valued part of our growing company.
Location: South Cerney (GL7)
Payrate: £16.12 ph
Hours: 06:00 - 15:00 (Monday - Friday, Weekend overtime available)
Terms: Temp to Perm - Immediate Start.
Tasks- To drive waste & recycling vehicles in a safe, considerate manner following a pre planned route.
- To undertake daily vehicle checks to ensure it is in good working order and report any defects.
- To assist with vehicle loading when required.
- To ensure vehicle is unloaded, re-fuelled and ready for use the following day.
- Comply with all company health & safety policies.
- Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Have flexible approach to working hours and tasks allocated.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
- Possess a valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have previous experience driving Class 2 vehicles (preferred).
- Have a good knowledge of UK roads and road safety regulations.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of vehicle safety checks and daily vehicle inspections.
- Be physically fit and capable of helping with loading where required.
