About the role
Simply Social Care is working with a confidential, values-led children's residential care provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for a small, two-bed EBD home in Oldham.
This full-time, permanent role is suited to an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader ready to step into management. You will work alongside the Registered Manager to lead shifts, support and develop staff, maintain high-quality care plans and safeguarding practice, and help create a safe, stable and therapeutic home where young people can heal, grow and thrive.
The role offers £38,000 per annum plus £45 per sleep-in, fully funded training and a clear progression route to Level 5, enhanced annual leave, private healthcare after probation, incentives, bonuses, paid sick leave and attendance rewards.

Requirements
At least four years' experience in residential childcare.
Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare or a relevant equivalent.
Strong working knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
Full UK driving licence.
Experience leading shifts and supporting staff in a children's residential setting.
