Quality Manager

Quality Manager East London Civils & Electrical Fit–Out GBP65,000 – GBP75,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance + Pension An established and growing construction contractor delivering complex civils, infrastructure and electrical fit–out projects across London and the South East is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who is passionate about driving standards, improving processes, and ensuring project delivery meets the highest levels of compliance and client expectations. Working across multiple projects, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System whilst supporting operational teams throughout the project lifecycle. The Role Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control across civils and electrical projects. Key responsibilities include: Managing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS) Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and industry best practice Developing, implementing and monitoring Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Leading internal and external quality audits Investigating non–conformances and implementing corrective actions Supporting project teams with quality planning and project documentation Producing quality reports and KPI metrics for senior management Conducting site inspections and quality reviews across active projects Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and certification bodies Driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business Supporting bid and tender submissions from a quality perspective Requirements We are keen to speak with candidates who have: Previous experience as a Quality Manager, QA Manager or Senior Quality Advisor Strong background within construction, civils, utilities, infrastructure, power or electrical contracting Good understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems Experience managing audits, NCRs, corrective actions and quality documentation Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work across multiple sites and projects Full UK driving licence Desirable Lead Auditor qualification Experience within utilities, ICP, power distribution or major infrastructure projects Knowledge of NEC contracts HNC/HND or degree qualification in a relevant discipline Package GBP65,000 – GBP75,000 basic salary Company car or car allowance Company pension scheme Annual leave entitlement Professional development and training opportunities Long–term career progression within a growing business Apply Now If you are a quality professional looking to join a well–established contractor delivering high–profile civils and electrical projects across London, we'd love to hear from you.
