With the UK business boasting an already impressive customer portfolio spanning; Retail, E–Commerce, Fashion and FMCG. The Role The Warehouse Operations Manager 3PL Contract Logistics , will play a critical role in leading all activities across a fast paced operation in Northampton operating within a Multi–User, Open & Closed Book, 250,000+ sq. ft. site. This position is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding organisation. Key Responsibilities Reporting Line: Reporting to the site Assistant General Manager.Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational activities, including warehousing, distribution, strategy, continuous improvement and projects.Team Management: Lead and develop a high–performing, collective site operational team (up to 150+ employees) through managerial direct reports.Client Relationships: Build and maintain an already impressive, strong customer relationship base, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practice.Process Optimisation: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost–effectiveness.The Candidate The successful candidate for the Warehouse Operations Manager 3PL Contract Logistics, opportunity will have the following skills and experiences: A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Background – Essential.A minimum of 5+ years Operations Manager / Senior Shift Operations Manager experience – Essential. Proven 3PL Multi–User experience required – Essential.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high–performing teams – Essential.Managed a team over over 100 heads – Essential.An individual truly excited by large scale growth challenges – Essential.Commutable to Northampton 5 x days per week – Essential.
