Teaching Assistant FULL TIME, UNTIL JULY 2027 STARTING IMMEDIATELY We are working with a welcoming and supportive school in Blackburn that is looking to appoint five Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and support students aged 11–18 in achieving their full potential. The successful candidates will play a key role in helping pupils engage with their learning, promoting positive behaviour, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS – Location: Blackburn BB2 – Position: Teaching Assistant – Type of Work: Long–term classroom support – Start Date: Immediate – Duration: Until July 2027 – Contract Type: Temporary – Full–Time/Part–Time: Full Time – Minimum Rate of Pay: GBP100 per day – Hours: 8:30am 4:00pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS – Recent Graduate with a 2:2 degree or above, or – Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, or – Experience working with young people through coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, sports, or similar settings – Previous experience working within a UK school is desirable – Up–to–date Safeguarding Training issued within the last 12 months (desirable) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: – Hold the Right to Work in the UK – Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to process a new application – Provide two professional references related to working with children or young people If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up–to–date CV.
