Advanced Practitioner – Locality Team

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Advanced Practitioner to join our client’s Locality Team in Bradford, with opportunities based at Sir Henry Mitchell House and Shipley Town Hall.
As an Advanced Practitioner within the Child Protection Team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to children and families. Working closely with the Principal Social Worker and Team Manager, you will support workforce development by modelling best practice, providing mentoring and consultation, and helping to drive excellent outcomes across the service.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Collaborate closely with the Principal Social Worker to support the delivery of high-quality services to children and families.
• Model good social work practice and provide guidance, support, mentoring, and consultation to colleagues.
• Lead on supporting Newly Qualified Social Workers undertaking the ASYE programme.
• Support student social workers on placement, identifying learning opportunities and promoting professional development.
• Provide regular reflective supervision, mentoring, and formal assessment of ASYE and student social workers.
• Complete reports and attend relevant panels to support workforce development.
• Support the Team Manager with managing team performance and maintaining high standards of practice.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Post-qualified experience within Children’s Services.
• Experience working within Child Protection.
• Degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
