Year 3 Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting a Year 3 Teacher for a one-form entry Primary School in Cheltenham, starting immediately for the full academic year. This is a full-time teaching opportunity offering the chance to take on full Class Teacher responsibilities and support pupils throughout Key Stage 2 (KS2). The successful candidate will join a Primary School where they can contribute to pupils' learning and development while benefiting from the support of Flourish Education throughout their placement.

Job Role
 

• As a Year 3 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Taking on full Class Teacher responsibilities for a Year 3 class.
• Supporting pupils' academic progress, engagement and development throughout the school year.
• Maintaining a positive learning environment and promoting good behaviour in the classroom.
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
• Following the Primary School's safeguarding procedures, behaviour policies and wider school expectations.

Required Skills and Experience
To be successful in this Year 3 Teacher role, you will need:
 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working as a Year 3 Teacher, Primary Teacher or Class Teacher.
• A good understanding of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• The ability to plan and deliver effective lessons that support pupil progress.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

This Year 3 Teacher position is based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, making it commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Bishop's Cleeve, Winchcombe, Charlton Kings and Leckhampton. The area has transport links connecting Cheltenham with surrounding towns and communities.
