Full-Time | £160–£200 per day | Starting 2nd November

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity?

We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Year 6 Teacher to join a primary school in Barnsley from 2nd November until Christmas, with the potential for the role to be extended through to the summer term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to take on a full-time role, supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their primary education and helping them prepare for the transition to secondary school.

The Role

• Full-time Year 6 teaching position.
• Start date: 2nd November.
• Initial contract running until Christmas, with the possibility of extension until the summer.
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
• Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Preparing pupils for their end-of-Key-Stage assessments (SATs).
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has experience teaching in Year 6 or across Key Stage 2.
• Has strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Is confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum and supporting SATs preparation.
• Is passionate about raising attainment and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
• Is reliable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
