The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills and confidence in applying mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Teaching topics including algebra, geometry, number, statistics and ratio.
• Preparing students for GCSE Maths examinations.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Adapting lessons to support students with different abilities and learning needs.

Requirements
To be considered for Maths teaching jobs in Sheffield, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
• Knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum.
• The ability to manage a classroom and support student progress.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
