About the role
Site-based Project Site Manager role in high-end commercial interior fit-out, covering hotel refurbishments, kitchen installations and bespoke furniture rollouts. Permanent position.
A commercial interior fit-out company is looking for a Project Site Manager to take full ownership of high-end fit-out projects on site. You will oversee hotel room refurbishments, commercial installations, and bespoke fitted furniture rollouts, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest finish standards.
The role
- Deliver installation packages (bedrooms, kitchens, FF&E) on time, within budget, and to agreed architectural specifications
- Manage and schedule M&E engineers, joiners, and specialist furniture installation teams
- Conduct stringent quality audits on bespoke joinery, fitted furniture, and architectural finishes prior to client handovers
- Ensure all installations comply with building regulations, including Crib 5 fire safety standards for commercial upholstery and passive fire-stopping requirements
- Act as the primary on-site contact for hotel operators, design teams, and quantity surveyors, providing clear weekly progress updates
What you'll need
- Minimum of 5 years' site management experience within commercial interior fit-outs, hospitality/hotel refurbishments, or high-volume bespoke joinery/kitchen installations
- Strong understanding of first and second-fix joinery, commercial FF&E logistics, and M&E services
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) card
- CSCS Black Card (Manager level)
- First Aid at Work certificate
