About the role
Professional Nanny Required – Monaco
Position: Full-Time Nanny | Live-Out
Location: Monaco
Start Date: 1 December 2026, or sooner if available
Salary: €4000-4,500 net
Principality Nannies is seeking an experienced, reliable and caring nanny to look after a 5-year-old boy in Monaco.
The family is looking for a professional nanny who can provide attentive, age-appropriate care and establish a warm, consistent routine. The position is primarily live-out, with the nanny living in her own accommodation. However, flexibility is required to live in the family home when the mother travels.
Working Schedule
- Wednesday 3:00pm–8:00pm
- Thursday and Friday 3:00pm until 11:00pm (typically finishing around 9:30pm once the child is asleep but paid for the full eight hours)
- Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am–6:00pm
- Days off: Monday and Tuesday
Key Responsibilities
- Providing attentive, nurturing care and ensuring the child’s safety and well-being.
- Organising age-appropriate activities and outings.
- Preparing meals and snacks for the child, as required.
- Establishing and maintaining consistent routines, including bedtime.
- Keeping the child’s areas tidy and organised.
- Communicating effectively with the mother regarding the child’s routine and needs.
- Assuming full childcare responsibilities when the mother travels, including staying overnight in the family home.
Travel Requirements
The mother typically travels once a month for approximately four to five days. During these periods, the nanny will be required to live in the family home and take full responsibility for the child.
There may also be opportunities to travel with the family during holidays, although this is not a regular requirement. The family has fully staffed homes in London, Paris, Dubai and Montana, so the nanny will generally have time off when the family travels without her.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, professional nanny who is organised, proactive and genuinely enjoys working with children. She should be comfortable working independently, adapting to the family’s needs and taking full responsibility for the child when the mother is away.
