About the role

DIGITAL PR LEAD

WHAT WE DO AT REFLECT DIGITAL?

Reflect Digital is the digital marketing agency your customers will thank you for hiring.

Putting our clients’ customers first, we work closely with ambitious global brands and eCommerce businesses looking to elevate their marketing and move towards true customer centricity. We help these companies to unleash their digital performance and grow revenue by leveraging human insights and psychological nudges to optimise strategies.

We believe end-customers do not care what channel they find their solution(s) via. The key for brands is to deliver the right message, at the right time in the right place, having built enough of a relationship and trust with the user to drive action or conversion. This is why a deeper understanding of your customer’s journeys, drivers and motivations is needed if you want to deliver exponential growth.

Since we were founded in 2011, we’ve received many awards and recognitions, including BIMA Agency Of The Year 2024, Campaign’s 3rd Best Place to Work in 2025, Employer of the Year, and Best Integrated Campaign (Large) 2024 with Brakes, among others demonstrating both our commitment to our team and delivering truly strategic campaigns for our clients.

About the Role

Are you an experienced Digital PR specialist with a passion for creative strategy, human behaviour, and inspiring a team?

We’re looking for a Digital PR Lead to drive the day-to-day performance, creative delivery, and team development across our Digital PR department. Working closely with our Head of Content & Digital PR, you’ll champion Reflect Digital’s behaviour-led approach, take ownership of key client relationships, and guide a talented team to deliver high-impact, story-driven campaigns.

If you love crafting campaign strategies that earn high-authority coverage, building strong client partnerships, and mentoring team members to reach their full potential, we’d love to chat.

What You’ll Be Doing

Empowering & Growing the Team

  • Provide clear leadership: Translate agency goals into clear responsibilities, set expectations, and delegate effectively.
  • Line management: Line-manage designated team members, delivering regular guidance, constructive feedback, coaching and career progression planning.
  • Workload & resourcing: Oversee day-to-day priorities, identify capacity challenges, and recommend resourcing adjustments to the Head of Department.
  • Knowledge sharing: Lead team discussions, campaign reviews, and skill-sharing sessions to champion a supportive, ambitious, and collaborative team culture.

Exceptional Client Servicing & Growth

  • Build trusted partnerships: Lead client relationships through proactive communication, strategic counsel, and a deep understanding of their commercial goals.
  • Lead client touchpoints: Run status calls, client meetings, and contribute to Quarterly Business Planning (QBP) sessions.
  • Strategic roadmap planning: Develop campaign strategies, roadmaps, and project plans aligned with client KPIs, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identify growth opportunities: Spot cross-selling, upselling, and retention opportunities, pitching multidisciplinary solutions alongside our Growth Team.
  • Commercial accountability: Monitor account profitability and budgets against targets, escalating risks and proposing optimisations early.
  • New business pitch support: Help win new accounts by contributing research, insights, strategy, and participating in pitch presentations.

Raising the Bar on Quality & Campaign Excellence

  • Drive behavioural PR: Oversee creative campaign delivery using audience data, behavioural principles, and AI insights to build brand authority and online visibility.
  • Maintain quality control: Review and QA press releases, research, pitch angles, and campaign assets before they hit the media.
  • Media relations: Maintain journalist, editor, blogger, and influencer relationships, while helping your team build out their own networks.
  • Integrated working: Partner with our Content, SEO, Creative, and Paid Media teams to create seamless cross-channel strategies.
  • Insightful reporting: Track coverage and online mentions, delivering clear reporting that translates campaign performance into actionable takeaways for clients.
  • Showcase results: Contribute to industry award entries, client case studies, and agency thought leadership.

Continuous Professional Development

  • Stay ahead of trends: Keep up with evolving trends in PR, journalism, search, AI, and audience behaviour, sharing relevant insights with the wider agency.
  • Proactive learning: Attend industry conferences and complete leadership/PR training to continuously expand your skills.
  • Agency advocacy: Contribute regularly to agency thought leadership, webinars, and industry events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Expertise: A solid background in Digital PR, earning top-tier coverage and building authoritative backlinks.
  • Leadership & Coaching Skills: Experience in line management or mentoring, with a knack for empowering team members.
  • Client-First Mindset: Strong presentation and relationship-building skills with a track record of managing retainers and budgets.
  • Strategic Thinker: Analytical, creative, and comfortable using data, behavioural insights, and AI tools to shape campaign ideas.
  • Collaborator: A team player who thrives in cross-discipline environments (SEO, Content, Creative, Paid).
  • Adaptable & Results-Driven: Solution-oriented when faced with changing search landscapes or campaign challenges.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Campaign Impact: Delivering measurable coverage, brand authority, and link equity aligned with client KPIs.
  • Thriving Relationships: Happy clients who see clear strategic value, leading to strong account retention and organic growth.
  • Supported Team: Direct reports feel empowered, mentored, coached and clear on their career development pathways.
  • Seamless Collaboration: Multi-discipline working enhances client results across the board.
