Year 4 Teacher

Flourish Education is working with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Allesely to recruit a dedicated Year 4 Class Teacher for a full-time position.

You’ll take full responsibility for your class, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking, while working closely with colleagues to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Lower Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

• Create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and motivated to learn.

• Mark and assess pupils’ work, providing constructive feedback to support progress.

• Monitor pupil attainment and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.

• Differentiate lessons to ensure all pupils are appropriately challenged and supported.

• Manage behaviour confidently and consistently in line with school policies.

• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.

• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers, supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.

We’re looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2.

• Has a strong understanding of the Year 4 curriculum and assessment expectations.

• Can plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of different learners.

• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Is organised, proactive and committed to helping pupils succeed.
