This role combines remote delivery, classroom-based training at our Wyboston facility, and occasional delivery at customer sites across the UK. We're also open to applications from instructors who wish to deliver online only.
About the Role
As an ISO Instructor, you'll deliver high-quality training programmes across Foundation, Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor levels, helping learners develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in today's rapidly evolving cyber security and AI governance landscape.
You'll be responsible for:

- Creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for diverse learner groups.
- Supporting learners through certification preparation and assessment.
- Ensuring training delivery meets awarding body and accreditation requirements.
- Maintaining up-to-date expertise in information security, governance, risk management, compliance and AI management systems.
- Acting as a professional ambassador for Firebrand when working with learners, clients and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident and engaging trainer with strong technical expertise and a passion for learning and development.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience delivering ISO 27001 Foundation, Lead Implementer and/or Lead Auditor training.
- PECB Authorised Trainer status.
- Knowledge of ISO 42001 Artificial Intelligence Management Systems.
- A strong understanding of information security governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
- Previous experience delivering professional training in virtual and/or classroom environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
- The ability to adapt delivery styles to suit different learner needs and experience levels.
Desirable Experience
We'll be particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Consulting, auditing or implementing management systems within organisations.
- Related standards and frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 27701, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and AI governance frameworks.
- Training enterprise or public sector clients.
- Additional information security, governance or audit certifications.
Location & Flexibility
This is a hybrid role based around delivery requirements, combining:
- Home-based delivery.
- Training at our Wyboston, Bedfordshire facility.
- Travel to customer sites throughout the UK.
- Potential opportunities for occasional European delivery assignments.
We will also consider applicants who prefer online-only delivery.
