About the role
Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a North East-based business with the appointment of a Sales Ledger to join their finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous sales ledger or accounts receivable experience who enjoys a varied role and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
The Role
- Managing the sales ledger and raising customer invoices.
- Reconciling customer accounts and allocating receipts.
- Supporting customer billing processes and submissions.
- Chasing outstanding payments and resolving invoice queries.
- Producing aged debt reports and supporting cash collection activities.
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.
- Providing wider support to the finance team as required.
About You
- Previous experience in a Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach.
- Good Excel skills and experience using finance systems.
- Able to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
