Join our team at Pilgrim Foodservice!
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Butchery Operative to join our busy Butchery Team at our Boston site.
This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in preparing, packing and ensuring the quality of fresh meat products for delivery to our customers.
Working in a fast-paced, chilled environment, you'll be part of a supportive team where quality, teamwork and food safety are at the heart of everything we do.
Please note: This role involves handling fresh meat products. No animals are slaughtered on site.
What will you be doing?
Preparing, handling and packing fresh meat products to meet customer requirements.
Picking, weighing and labelling orders accurately.
Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, quality and safety are maintained at all times.
Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised.
Following safe working practices and company procedures.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in butchery, food production or a similar environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Comfortable working with and handling fresh meat products.
Happy working in a chilled, fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
The right to work in the UK.
