Product Owner

*This role requires Security Clearance active/ or recently lapsed*

The Role

As Product Owner, you'll bridge the gap between our vision and the technical execution of our products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital solutions align with our company goals of delivering exceptional service and social value.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Backlog Management: Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity and focus on delivering maximum value
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met
• Sprint Planning: Lead sprint planning sessions, set clear goals and ensure timely delivery of products and services
• Continuous Improvement: Analyse product performance, gather user feedback and iterate, to enhance product quality and user satisfaction

What We're Looking For

Experience

• A minimum 2+ years' proven experience as a Product Owner, or translatable role - preferably working within Agile environments
• Public Sector experience considered advantageous, but not essential

Skills

• A strong understanding of Agile Methodologies, excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable tasks and requirements
  • Qualification in Agile practices would be advantageous, but not essential
• The ability to prioritise work and requirements effectively, taking into account impact, resource, value and risk

Tools

• Familiarity with Product Management and Development tools
  • Aha! or Azure DevOps experience would be advantageous
