Role: Gatehouse Operative 4on4off daysLocation: Corby - NN17Pay: £12.71 per hourShifts: 4on4off night shift 0600-1800Extrastaff Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a Gatehouse Operative, working for an ever-growing frozen food distribution warehouse based in Corby.You will be managing the arrival of HGV vehicles on site, ensuring all drivers are checked in, correctly recorded and directed to the appropriate loading, unloading or waiting areas. The Gatehouse Operative will help maintain site security, ensure traffic flows safely and efficiently and provide a professional point of contact for drivers confirm their identity, delivery or collection details and verify relevant paperwork, record vehicle registration numbers, trailer details, driver names, arrival times and any other information required.Benefits of a Gatehouse Operative: Day shifts Temp to Perm opportunities Weekly pay 0600-1800 4on4off All breaks paid Duties of a Gatehouse Operative: Vehicle Check-in, greet arriving HGV drivers Vehicle Registration, record vehicle registration numbers Traffic Management, Direct HGVs to the correct loading bays Liaise with warehouse staff, loading teams and transport planners Manage vehicle movements and waiting times to prevent congestion Maintain records of deliveries Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, contractors, visitors and colleagues Keep the gatehouse and surrounding area clean and tidy INDIND
