About The Role:
Key responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative
- Cleaning the buses to best quality
- Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats and driver’s cabin
- Checking vehicle for any lost property
- Wiping down all armrests and windowsills
- Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth
- Hoovering seats if required
- Mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath
- Completing the cleaning checklist and displaying at front of vehicle
- Touch Point Cleaning
Key requirements for a Bus Cleaning Operative
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
- Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
- A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
