  • Support minor repairs, replacements and improvement works.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Building Inspections & Preventative Maintenance

  • Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and routine building checks.

  • Conduct regular inspections of communal areas, identifying defects and maintenance concerns.

Contractor & Building Support

  • Provide access and assistance to external contractors attending site.

  • Help prepare work areas and ensure they are left clean and safe following repairs.

  • Assist with organising maintenance materials, tools and supplies.

  • Support the Maintenance Manager with general site operations and maintenance projects.

Resident & Communal Area Support

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation throughout communal areas.

  • Respond politely and professionally to resident maintenance enquiries.

  • Assist with general building upkeep and practical tasks as required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 1 year’s practical maintenance experience in a residential, commercial, hospitality or similar environment.

  • Basic hands-on skills in general repairs, plumbing, carpentry, decorating or handyman duties.

  • Must live locally to Putney, South West London.

  • Good understanding of safe working practices and basic health and safety.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, practical and genuinely enjoys hands-on work. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to support the maintenance team with a variety of tasks.

You should take pride in your workmanship, pay close attention to detail and be keen to develop your maintenance knowledge and experience.
