We’re partnering with an exciting, private equity-backed business operating in a specialist information and intelligence sector, looking for an experienced Contract Technical Project Manager to support a number of concurrent technology and infrastructure projects.
You’ll help coordinate a range of complex technical workstreams, including an Azure cloud migration, Microsoft 365 migration and website migration. Working alongside external delivery partners and internal specialists, you’ll manage dependencies, track progress and ensure projects stay on track.
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced project manager who can work autonomously, navigate competing priorities and identify risks across multiple projects.
As a Technical Project Manager you will…
- Support the migration of Azure cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365.
- Oversee the migration of a website hosted on Azure App Service with SQL Server.
- Manage dependencies across concurrent technology and data projects.
- Coordinate external suppliers, technical specialists and internal stakeholders.
- Work alongside specialists supporting a Dynamics-to-Salesforce migration.
- Track project progress, risks, issues and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
- Work closely with operational leadership to keep projects moving.
This Technical Project Manager will have…
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure, cloud or technology migration projects.
- A good understanding of Azure and the Microsoft technology stack.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects, competing priorities and complex dependencies.
- Confident coordinating external suppliers and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to identify risks before they become issues.
- Personable, collaborative and comfortable working within a small team.
- Experience in financial services, legal or other regulated environments.
Important: This role requires an experienced project manager who can manage complexity and spot dependencies across multiple workstreams. A purely software delivery background is unlikely to be suitable.
