About the Role
Inspire Resourcing Ltd are recruiting an experienced Finance Manager on behalf of our client.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, family-owned manufacturing and distribution business, taking full ownership of the accounts function and working closely with the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day running of the accounts department
Purchase & sales ledger management
Bank reconciliations, VAT returns and credit control
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning
Year-end preparation and liaison with external accountants
Stock accounting, product costing and margin analysis
Maintaining and improving financial controls and procedures
Requirements
Strong hands-on accounting experience
Experience preparing management accounts
VAT and year-end accounting knowledge
Advanced Excel and accounting software skills
AAT qualified or above (ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified candidates encouraged to apply)
Manufacturing, distribution or ERP system experience advantageous
This role would suit a proactive, detail-focused finance professional who enjoys being involved in the numbers and making a real impact within a growing business.
