At HR Support we are currently working for one of our longest standing clients to find them a HR Manager to join the team in a newly created role. As they’ve grown and evolved as a business, and in preparation for some exciting changes and projects in 2027 and beyond, they are keen to find an experienced HR Manager to help them on that journey.

If you’re a HR Manager looking for a new challenge, have experience within a law firm (ideally, or if not at least professional services), and are excited to roll up your sleeves in an absolutely lovely mid-sized law firm - then our client would love to hear from you.

The role is a full generalist HR Manager position that will see you take over the day-to-day operational management of the HR team (currently 6 people) from the current Head of HR, act as the escalation point for ER, oversee HR projects, be the “go to” person for senior stakeholders, collate and prepare HR analytics to present to the partnership, and support the growth and development of the wider HR team.

Our client is a well-respected, mid-sized law firm with a fantastic reputation for being a relaxed and collegiate place to work, who really care about culture and belonging. They are based in London, and work hybrid (3 days in the office) with a genuine work-life balance.

What they are looking for is an experienced HR Manager or HRBP, ideally from another law firm or very similar partnership/professional services company who wants to be part of a small, but ambitious team.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified, and have experience managing a team. You will need solid experience dealing with complex, sensitive ER matters at senior level, and be happy working in a role where each day will be different.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work as the “number 2” to the Head of HR, perhaps even working towards taking over some of their duties too in time.
