WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – EARLY MORNING SHIFT – UDDINGSTON, GLASGOW

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative – Uddingston, Glasgow to join our well-established client based in Uddingston, Glasgow for a temporary assignment running from 7th September until 1st October.

This is a great opportunity offering £15.26 per hour, Monday to Friday working, consistent early morning hours and weekly pay.

£15.26 PER HOUR | MONDAY TO FRIDAY | 04:00–08:00 | WEEKLY PAY | 7TH SEPTEMBER–1ST OCTOBER

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Furniture Handler, Warehouse Worker, Loader, Unloader, Goods Handler or General Operative.

Please note: This role involves regular heavy furniture handling and is only suitable for candidates who are physically fit and comfortable carrying out heavy manual handling throughout the shift.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 04:00 to 08:00
 • 20 hours per week
 • Assignment runs from 7th September to 1st October
 • Candidates must be available for the full assignment

Rates of Pay

 • £15.26 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

 • Handling and moving furniture and large household items
 • Carrying out heavy manual lifting throughout the shift
 • Loading and unloading stock
 • Picking items using handheld scanners
 • Moving goods safely around the warehouse
 • Working efficiently to meet productivity targets
 • Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
 • Completing general warehouse duties as required

Essential Skills

 • Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting
 • Previous furniture handling or heavy manual handling experience
 • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
 • Able to commit to the full assignment from 7th September to 1st October
 • Comfortable working 04:00 to 08:00 shifts
 • Positive and team-focused attitude
 • Ability to reliably travel to Uddingston for a 04:00 start
 • Own transport would be advantageous due to the early start time
