Warehouse Operative (Heavy Lifting)

Connect Appointments is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join an established logistics business based in Middleton.

This is a physically demanding night shift role involving continuous heavy lifting in two-man teams throughout the shift, so you’ll need to be genuinely comfortable with sustained manual handling. In return you’ll get a fixed shift pattern, weekends off and a clear route to a permanent position.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday nights, midnight to 8:30am
• Paid weekly at £12.71 per hour

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Heavy lifting throughout the shift, working as part of a two-man lifting team
• Moving and handling large, heavy items safely with a colleague
• Loading and unloading goods across the shift
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

To be considered as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• Good physical fitness as heavy lifting is continuous throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a two-man lifting team
• Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is advantageous
• A reliable approach to work with good timekeeping
