About the role
Outreach Tutor - Stockton-on-Tees
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Rate: £27-£30 per hour
Hours: Flexible, part-time
We are recruiting an Outreach Tutor to deliver 1:1 tuition on behalf of the Local Authority. Sessions will take place in learners' homes, supporting young people who are unable to access mainstream education.
Requirements
- Experience tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or supporting young people
- Confident working in learners' homes
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Strong communication and safeguarding awareness
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience with SEND and/or SEMH
- Alternative Provision or outreach tutoring experience
