Process Room Operative – Knighton

• Location: Knighton
• Pay Rate: £14.10 per hour
• Working Hours: 12-hour shifts, working a 4-on 4-off rotation
• Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Process Room Operative to join a busy operation in Knighton. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, working as part of a team and contributing to a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixing syrups to recipes and food safety standards.
• Assisting with processing and production activities in line with site procedures.
• Handling and preparing materials for processing as required.
• Carrying out quality checks and recording batch details.
• Moving ingredients and assisting with stock checks.
• Following work instructions and ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised process room throughout the working day.
• Following health and safety procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Handling materials carefully to prevent damage and minimise waste.
• Working alongside colleagues to ensure daily tasks and production targets are completed efficiently.
• Reporting damaged materials, equipment issues or any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Following instructions from supervisors and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a process room, production, manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment would be an advantage.
• Experience handling materials or working with production processes would be beneficial.
• Basic IT skills would be beneficial.
• Previous forklift truck (FLT) experience would be desirable but is not essential.
