Workday Finance Consultant (Interim Outside IR35 – 6 Months)

Location: Remote or Head Office Nottingham (Hybrid)

Reward: £300-£500 day Outside IR35

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to support the integration of a recently acquired business. Reporting to the Senior Leadership Team, this role is hands-on and will be responsible for configuring, building, and testing Workday Finance functionalities to ensure a seamless transition.

The ideal candidate will have a finance background and has transitioned into a Workday specialist, bringing both technical expertise and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Workday Finance subject matter expert, advising on best practices.
• Configure, build, and test Workday Financials to support the integration process.Collaborate with Finance, HR, and key business stakeholders to ensure smooth system adoption.
• Support the design, development, and implementation of Workday Finance solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Ideal Experience & Skills

• Workday Finance expertise, including configuration, security, and business processes.
• Financial background (Qualified/Part-Qualified Accountant preferred) with Workday specialisation.
• Strong experience in Workday implementation, integration, or optimisation.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, decentralised environment.
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
