Are you a technically strong, hands-on Desktop Support Engineer with experience supporting Fund Managers, Front Office teams and VIP users within Financial Services?

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join a prestigious financial services environment in Central London, delivering high-quality, white-glove IT support to senior stakeholders and demanding business users.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, technically confident, professional and genuinely hands-on – someone who takes ownership, thrives under pressure and knows how to deliver exceptional VIP support.

The Role

You'll provide face-to-face, desk-side and floor-walking support to Fund Managers, senior executives and Front Office users, troubleshooting everything from desktop and Microsoft 365 issues to mobile devices, endpoint management and meeting room technology.

This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role where technical expertise, excellent communication and outstanding customer service are essential.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' Desktop / End-User Support experience across 1st–3rd Line.

• 3+ years' Financial Services experience, ideally Investment Banking or Asset Management, supporting Fund Managers, Front Office or VIP users.

• Microsoft Azure certification and a minimum of 2 years' hands-on Azure experience.

• Strong Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager (ABM) and iOS/iPadOS management experience.

• Windows Autopilot – device enrolment, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting.

• Microsoft 365 – strong support skills across Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and Copilot.

• Desktop & Hardware Support – Dell laptops/desktops, docking stations, Windows builds, Apple devices and peripherals.

• Infrastructure & Security – working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Admin Center, ServiceNow, Zscaler, Proofpoint and Microsoft Defender.

• Meeting Room & AV Support – hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Teams meeting rooms, video conferencing, AV equipment and mobile devices is essential.

• VIP / Executive Support – proven ability to support senior, demanding users professionally, with excellent communication and incident ownership.

• Can work independently, remain calm under pressure and deliver a premium, white-glove service.

• Have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain a smart, professional appearance.

• Speak French – advantageous, but not essential.

Contract Details

• Location: Central London – 5 days onsite

• Duration: Initial 6 months, strong possibility of extension

• Rate: £260–£275 per day – Inside IR35 (Umbrella only)

• Start: Immediate

• Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts:

  • 07:30–16:30

  • 10:30–19:30
