Assistant Store Manager - Vision Express Sutton, London
Looking for your next step in retail management?
We're recruiting an Assistant Store Manager to join our Vision Express Sutton store. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supervisor, Team Leader or Deputy Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment and knows how to get the best from a team.
Optics experience isn't essential. We're looking for a confident leader who can motivate colleagues, deliver outstanding customer service and support the Store Manager in driving store performance.
What You'll Do
• Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store
• Lead, coach and develop colleagues
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Drive sales performance and key store KPIs
• Support recruitment, onboarding and colleague engagement
• Maintain high operational and compliance standards
• Take ownership of the store when the Store Manager is absent
• Adapt quickly in a busy retail environment
What We're Looking For
• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Experience motivating teams to achieve results
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and confidence using KPIs
• A proactive, adaptable approach
• Optical experience is beneficial but not required
