Help every child thrive.Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential?Tradewind Recruitment is working with a range of welcoming mainstream primary schools across Sutton who are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide specialist support to pupils with mild to moderate additional learning needs.These roles offer the opportunity to work closely with children who benefit from extra guidance, encouragement and tailored support, helping them develop their confidence, independence and academic skills in a nurturing classroom environment.Whether you already have experience supporting children with SEND or are looking to build a rewarding career in education, we have a variety of part-time and full-time opportunities to suit your experience and availability.If you're patient, proactive and passionate about inclusive education, we'd love to hear from you!The Role:Provide 1:1 tailored support for your assigned pupil Be confident to support SEND, including ASD, ADHD, Emotional DysregulationSupport learning, emotional regulation, and social developmentWork alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP target and support planAdapt learning resources to meet individual needs of the childPromote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:At least 6 months experience supporting children with additional needsIdeally hold minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusionConfident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary settingPatient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and well-beingHolds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)Available Monday to Friday Pay: £93 per day for candidates with a minimum of 3 months experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or SEND setting. £100 per day for candidates who hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have over 12 months previous experience supporting pupils with SEND including ASc, ADHD, SEMH or SLD or experience with personal care.
