My client, specialist Lloyds insurer are looking to hire off the back of a project of work due to be kicked off. On this ocassion my client is looking to hire a business analyst on an initial 3 month contract based in London. The busness analyst will be respnsible for the below :
- Lead requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, document analysis, and observation of operational activities.
- Define, document, validate, and manage business requirements, functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and business rules.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, business requirements documents (BRDs), and functional specifications as appropriate.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs, solution design, development, and testing.
- Translate complex broking and operational requirements into clear, actionable outputs for technology and delivery teams.
- Manage requirements changes and support prioritisation in line with business value, risk, and delivery constraints.
The business analyst will also be adept in the folowwing :
Retail Insurance Broking Expertise
- Analyse and document end-to-end retail broking processes covering personal lines and/or SME commercial lines, depending on business requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the insurance policy lifecycle, including:
- New business and quote generation.
- Risk capture, rating, and underwriting referrals.
- Policy inception, issuance, and documentation.
- Renewals, remarketing, and retention.
- Mid-term adjustments (MTAs), cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Claims notification and associated broker processes.
- Premium collection, payment processing, refunds, and commission arrangements.
The busness analystwil ideally have worked extensively in he Lloyds of London eco system especially around broking.
