The Opportunity
Driver Hire Slough is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver on behalf of an established customer within the food distribution sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for a straightforward, manageable driving role with consistent weekday hours, a competitive salary and a great work-life balance.
The role involves delivering food products to hotels, restaurants and other hospitality establishments. The work is relatively straightforward, making it ideal for someone looking for a less demanding driving position.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food products to hotels, restaurants and hospitality businesses.
- Complete scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when dealing with customers.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and comply with road transport regulations.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 2 driving experience.
- Valid Category C driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
- Available for an immediate start and willing to attend an interview.
