Key Responsibilities
- Create and optimise CNC programs for precision-machined components.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
- Select suitable tooling, cutting strategies, and machining methods.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing targets.
- Ensure all components are produced to exact specifications and quality requirements.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience optimising programs to improve production efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
