Pembrook Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and reputable dealership in Castleford.

With £50,000 OTE (uncapped), 33 days annual leave and the opportunity to gain an IMI Level 3 qualification in Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, this is an excellent opportunity for technicians looking to develop their skills and future-proof their careers.

THE ROLE:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, identifying effective repair solutions.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
• Work closely with the workshop team to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
• Deliver consistently high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to keep up to date with the latest automotive technology.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience working as an Automotive Technician on commercial vehicles.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
• A professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
