About the role
💷 £35,950 – £37,638 OTE (including sleep-ins) + £1,000 joining bonus
⏰ 40 hours per week + sleep-ins
🔄 2 days on / 4 days off (alternate week pattern)
About the Role We are looking for passionate and dedicated Children’s Residential Care Workers to join a supportive and established team in Derby.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You will play a key role in supporting children to build confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential within a safe and nurturing home environment.
You’ll be responsible for providing emotional support, promoting positive behaviours, and ensuring the overall wellbeing of the children in your care.

- Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to young people
- Promoting independence, life skills, and social development
- Supporting with routines, education, and activities
- Maintaining a safe and structured environment
- Working as part of a team to deliver high-quality care
You’ll be joining a team that values support, development, and career progression, with ongoing training provided to help you grow within your role.
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People (or willingness to work towards)
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare
- Full UK driving licence
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
