Shared Services Advisor

As a Shared Services Advisor, you will play a vital role within our Shared Services Team, delivering a professional, efficient and customer-focused HR administration service across the employee lifecycle. Working as part of a busy Shared Services function, you will support colleagues, managers and candidates by providing first-line advice, managing HR queries, maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.

You will be responsible for a wide range of activities including onboarding, right to work verification, employment contracts, security vetting, employee changes, payroll administration, offboarding and HR systems management. You will also support audits, reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives that help enhance the employee experience and drive operational efficiency.

As the role involves access to sensitive and confidential security-related information, the successful candidate will be required to undergo vetting in accordance with BS7858, the British Standard for security screening. This includes a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, alongside the other relevant screening requirements of the standard.

This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will work closely with managers and stakeholders across the business, helping to ensure our people processes are delivered consistently, compliantly and in line with Atlas values.
