About the role
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our expanding team based in Scunthorpe. The role is shift based and candidate will work Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30 or 10:00-18:30.
The salary for the position is £46,000 plus up to £1,000 Quarterly Bonus.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with site Engineering Manager to effectively plan workload and job allocation, ensuring tasks are completed in order of priority.
- Work with departmental managers to ensure repair or planned work to machinery is carried out with minimal disruption to operations.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure the sufficient and relevant materials required for repairs and regeneration projects are purchased.
- Ensure that repairs and building projects are completed to a high standard, in line with all relevant regulations.
- Act as a key liaison between Engineering Manager and Maintenance team, ensuring any information and business changes are shared throughout the team.
- Monitor performance and output and highlight any areas of concern to management.
