Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker
Location: Barry, Wales, UK
Salary: £14.24 per hour (including holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting individuals with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments
Promoting independence and encouraging the development of life skills
Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and team members
Participating in engaging activities like walks, games, music sessions, arts & crafts, and more
Supporting emotional wellbeing and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
Ensuring the safety and dignity of every individual in your care
Observing, monitoring, and recording residents' conditions

Requirements:

At least 6 months of experience working within a social care setting
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to pay for one
The right to work in the UK
Ability to work above 24 hours per week
A driver’s licence is essential for supporting residents in the community, such as attending activities or hobbies
