Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will respond to breakdowns, complete planned maintenance and identify ways to improve equipment reliability. The machinery includes motors, drives, sensors, control systems and PLC-controlled production equipment.You will also assist with mechanical repairs, new machinery installations, equipment modifications and site improvement projects. This position would suit an electrically skilled engineer looking for a secure role with further training, development and the opportunity to work with modern manufacturing equipment.Sector - Manufacturer Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Electrical maintenance experienceElectrical fault-finding skills.Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.Electrical qualification Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Experience working within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong electrical fault-finding skillsHealth & Safety conscious with a proactive approach.Experience working within a production environmentGood problem-solving and communication skills.Able to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer Worked on hydraulics and pneumatics systemsContinuous improvement or project experience.17th/18th Edition or other relevant electrical qualifications.
