We are currently recruiting for an organised and proactive Order Processing / Project Support Coordinator to join a busy and growing team.
This is a varied position involving order processing, customer communication, project support and coordination across multiple departments. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring orders are processed accurately, customers are updated and projects run smoothly from enquiry through to delivery.
Main Responsibilities
- Process customer orders from start to finish, ensuring all information is accurate and complete
- Proof read order content, schedules, materials and logistics information to support on time delivery
- Carry out procedures to reduce information errors and support accurate customer invoicing
- Provide support to estimators, business development managers and project managers when required
- Liaise with production and project managers to provide status updates on open orders
- Answer customer enquiries by phone and email regarding deliveries, orders and general queries
- Read customer drawings and specifications to identify key project costs
- Use quoting spreadsheets to assist with quotations and costing information
- Obtain and review quotations from suppliers and subcontractors when required
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
Essential Requirements
Previous experience within an order processing, coordination, administration or project support role
