Mortgage Administrator

Location: Pinner - fully office based

Salary: £35,000 per annum

My client, a growing specialist mortgage broker is looking for a Mortgage Administrator. We have placed a handful of administrators into the business and they really value their staff here. You will work with a variety of lenders and must have experience as a mortgage admin in the past. You will be office based, Monday to Friday, no weekend work!

Experience required for a Mortgage Administrator to come on board;

• At least 18 months' experience as a Mortgage Administrator.
• Good understanding of the mortgage market and mortgage application process.
• Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills.
• Suitability letter preparation experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Mortgage case-keying experience is advantageous, with training available.
• Mortgage Advisers looking to move into an administration-focused role will also be considered.

Mortgage Administrator Duties;

• Support mortgage renewal activity by contacting clients and gathering relevant information.
• Prepare suitability letters using internal systems and templates.
• Maintain accurate case files, compliance records and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with clients over the telephone and pass relevant information to the Mortgage Adviser.
• Help improve case management and administration processes.
• Provide wider administrative support, including telephone cover and mortgage case keying.
• Cover colleagues during holidays and absences when required.
