The Role:

The successful Claims Handler will be responsible for:

• Manage commercial insurance claims from notification to settlement.
• Provide claims guidance and support to clients.
• Liaise with clients, insurers, and third parties daily.
• Identify coverage issues and potential fraud concerns.
• Maintain accurate records while meeting service standards and deadlines.
• Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the claims process.

The Person:

The successful Claims Handler will meet the following criteria:

• CII qualified or working towards professional qualifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of claims handling and the insurance market.
• Understanding of insurance policy terms and conditions.
• Ability to assess customer needs and provide appropriate advice.
• Awareness of regulatory, compliance, and consumer protection requirements.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
